Dane Haiken

Dane Haiken is a film programmer and educator from Tucson, Arizona. A graduate of Grinnell College, Dane has been engaged with Chicago's nonprofit, education, and arts communities since moving to Chicago five years ago.

Dane is the Program Director of Full Spectrum Features. He is the founder and director of FSF's Summer Youth Program in collaboration with After School Matters, the program director of Chicagoland Shorts, an annual touring short film anthology, and associate producer for Hidden Histories, a cinematic digital history project funded in part by a $160,000 grant from the National Park Service. 

Dane has been involved in Chicago's independent film community as a 1st AD on various indie productions. He is also a curator for the Chicago Onscreen Series and the Chicago International Children's Film Festival, the biggest children's film festival in North America.
