Director's statement
Millions of queer people around the world have to leave their families, because this is the only way they can be themselves and live freely. And there are millions of families who will never fully know their sons and daughters, and this is an abyss that is not customary to talk about. There are changes that must happen, and as an artist I feel responsible to shed the light on this topic and start the conversation. This story is based on the lives of real people and is full of their memories and insights. We will do our best to explore cultures and compare views on family, sexuality, and love.
