SYNOPSIS: Jumps is a dramedy set in 1990s Chicago, in a neighborhood seeing the first signs of gentrification. Javi, a young Latinx boy, is bullied while playing basketball for not having the latest shoes. But he's comforted by his Mom who, to Javi's suprise, has some sick basketball skills.

Eddie Martinez is an ensemble member of the Teatro Vista Artist Collective.
As an Actor he has appeared Off-Broadway in FADE at Cherry Lane in NYC. In Chicago, at Steppenwolf in Our Lady of 121st Street and I’m Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter. FILM /TV credits include Chicago Fire, Shameless, Sense8, Sirens, Justified: Primeval, The Break Up and The Dilemma.
Jumps is his first screenwriting and producing project. It’s a story inspired by his love of basketball, the Chicago Bulls, the 90s neighborhood he grew up in, and the mentors and friends that once lived there. Forever grateful to Full Spectrum Features and Teatro Vista Productions.
