SYNOPSIS:

Quotidian presents us the story of Yamil, Chicago-born from Humboldt Park. He has become a self-complacent and passive industrial machinist with a hands-off approach to society after moving to the Pilsen neighborhood to escape a dark past of crime and violence. After losing his secure union job and stability, he is forced to socialize his struggle in defense of his own survival and so becomes a hero to himself and to those that share his plight. Struggle becomes the essence of everyday life.
