SYNOPSIS: You’re OUT!  is a coming-of-middle-age story about Rod Browning, an out-of-work, former minor league baseball player, and his best friend who take their 17-year old sons on a cross-country road trip to get them recruited by a Division 1 college baseball team. It’s a modern-day National Lampoon’s Vacation—with baseball.

Simone, Rod’s wife, is a savvy businesswoman who has grown tired of keeping the family afloat by starring in her home-made adult video subscription service. Fearful that she’s about to be outed by a puritanical posse of PTO parents, Simone gives Rod an ultimatum to get his life back on track (and return from the whirlwind college baseball showcase in time for their daughter’s birthday party) or risk losing her forever.

The film strongly debunks the myth that pit-bull-type dogs are unsafe and features Matterhorn, a brilliant blocky-headed stray. Rod, who has an aversion to dogs, finds Matterhorn as he’s road-tripping across the country. She eventually wins him over and even provides the moral support he needs to overcome his fear of flying. In the end, she becomes a beloved family pet.
